At St Thomas Aquinas, we take great pride in presenting ourselves well and wearing our uniform with respect. 

PURCHASING OUR UNIFORM

The St Thomas Aquinas Primary School school uniform can be purchased from Whytes in Moss Vale. Online ordering is available at Whytes.

Hats, beanies, backpacks, scarves and gloves can be purchased from the STA School Uniform Shop adjacent to the school office. The Uniform Shop is open on Monday afternoons from 2:45 pm – 3:30pm. Please bring a reusable bag for your shopping when you visit so that we can limit our use of plastic bags.

Second-Hand Goods: We welcome donations of any second-hand school clothing or accessories that you no longer require. Please drop these to either our front office or the Uniform Shop during opening hours. These items are then available for purchase at $2.00 per item, which is donated to St Vincent de Paul. Parents may purchase these second-hand goods by visiting our Uniform Shop.
 

SUMMER AND WINTER UNIFORM

Summer uniform is worn for Terms 1 & 4 and Winter uniform for Terms 2 & 3. However, during the first 2 weeks of Terms 2 and 4, either uniform may be worn depending on the weather as the seasons change. Full summer or full winter uniform must be worn, not a combination of both.
  

SPORTS UNIFORM (BOYS & GIRLS)

• Maroon polo shirt
• Maroon sports shorts or skort
• White sport socks
• White joggers with white laces (a small amount of colour permissible)
• Maroon cloth hat with crest
  
  

OTHER UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS

HAIR

• Long hair (below collar length) is to be worn tied up
• Ribbons / scrunchies should be maroon / black / white
• No hair adornments should be worn
• Short hair – no shorter than a number 3 blade
• Children’s hair should not be coloured
   

JEWELLERY

• A crucifix may be worn around the neck as long as it is tucked inside the uniform
• Earrings are to be studs/sleepers
• No other jewellery is to be worn
   

MAKEUP

Nail polish and makeup are not to be worn at any time.
 

HATS

Parents are reminded of the rule: ‘No hat - No play’.
 

SCHOOL BACKPACKS

School backpacks with the school crest are available from the School Uniform Shop, but these are not compulsory.
