Students tell Christmas story in beautiful artworks
St Thomas Aquinas students have been recognised for their wonderful artworks in this year's CEDoW Christmas Story Art Competition and Exhibition.
Each year, Years 5 & 6 students from 30 Catholic schools across the Diocese of Wollongong – including St Thomas Aquinas – are invited to take part in the art competition.
This is an initiative of the Catholic Education Offices in Wollongong and Sydney, designed to celebrate and explore children’s creative and artistic ability in illustrating the Christmas story.
This year's competition winners have now been announced and we congratulate our Year 6 students on their success:
- Elise – received Third Prize
- Angelique – received a Highly Commended
- Eden – received a Highly Commended
These students will now progress to the next stage of the competition, with entries from students across a number of dioceses in the state.
Congratulations to Elise, Eden and Angelique! We are very proud of all our students.
